In the SH2IPDRIVE project, Mana develops a modular power solution based on hydrogen. We work together with Royal Roos to create a robust, simple, plug & play generator that can be used in offshore construction or as power generation on board a transport ship. 

 

In this concept, one container will house a power generation unit, whereas the other containers provide fuel storage. In this modular design, the required amount of power and stored energy can be taken along for every use case. To further increase the flexibility, the power generation and fuel storage technologies are not fixed. This way, we can always find the right trade-off between cost, efficiency and energy/power density in every situation.
